A00133 - Must See TV for March 2023: PBS: Frontline: Age of Easy Money

It has been a long time since I had an economics class, but I have just finished watching the PBS Frontline program  entitled "Age of Easy Money" and I am not only a bit bewildered I am also very concerned, especially in light of the recent failure of the Silicon Valley Bank and the bailout that was performed.  Based upon what I gathered from the "Age of Easy Money", it appears that, for the last fifteen years, the government has engaged in a fiscal policy that is eating away at the foundations of capitalism and fueling the growing inequality in this country.  Given the gravity of the message being conveyed in the program, I am compelled to recommend that the Must See TV Program for March 2023 be PBS Frontline's "Age of Easy Money."

I also suggest that we all begin to educate ourselves on the significance of the silicon valley bank bailout in the continuing age of easy money

It is a strange world ... a very strange world indeed.

P. S. Amherst's own Joseph Stiglitz makes a cameo in the program and, as usual, his perception of the age of easy money is rather grim.
