A00386 - Francis de Sales, Patron Saint of Writers and Journalists

Each night, I try to meditate on some Words of Wisdom.  This evening the Words of Wisdom I focused on were those of Francis de Sales that are set forth below

Francis de Sales (Saint Francis de Sales) - A00093
"Do not wish to be anything but what you are, and try to be that perfectly."

Until tonight I had never heard of Francis de Sales, so I decided to look him up.  These are the articles, I read

What startled me in reading about Francis de Sales is that he is not only the Patron Saint of the Deaf, he is also the Patron Saint of Writers and Journalists.  Wow!  But the truly spooky "coincidence" is that the Feast Day for Saint Francis de Sales happens to be January 29.  It happens to be today.

Make out of this what you will.

Happy Feast Day!

Peace,
